Youth Congress leader files case against BB ex-contestant Payal Rohtagi over FB video

A case was registered against Bigg Boss former contestant and TV actress Payal Rohtagi for her Facebook video. Rajasthan Police registered a case after the complaint was filed by Youth Congress leader Charmesh Sharma.

Payal Rohtagi posted a video on her FB account and allegedly making objectionable comments against the family of freedom fighter Motilal Nehru as well as she has defamed the wife of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.


The case registered under sections 66 and 67 of the IT Act.

The Congress leader alleged that Rohtagi has insulted Motilal Nehru by making false allegations against his wife to defame her. He also alleged that the actress has also insulted the first Prime Minister of the nation by leveling false charges over his wife’s character as well.

Reportedly, the video was shared on September 21 on the social media app. He alleged that the words of the actress could hamper India’s relations with other nations.
