A suspicious packet has been recovered under a railway track at the North 24 Parganas in West Bengal’s Ashok Nagar on Wednesday. The packet is of a bomb that was placed on the railway track in West Bengal, reported news agency ANI.

The bomb has been disposed of by the civil authorities. Normal services over Bangaon section resumed.
“It's a suspected bomb. Our bomb disposal squad has already rushed to the spot. After disposal of the bomb, the line will be cleared,” Nikhil Kumar, CPRO Eastern Railway said.
