West Bengal: 1 soldier killed, other injured in shootout at Central Forces base on election duty in Howrah

Shootout reported at Central Forces base on election duty in West Bengal's Howrah. As per media reports, one soldier has been killed and other has been injured in the gunfight at a central force base in Bagnan in West Bengal's Howrah district.
Reportedly, Central forces have been deployed in the region ahead of ongoing Lok Sabha polls for the Howrah constituency, which votes on May 6 in the sixth phase of elections. Results will be declared on May 23.
