Attorney General (AG) K. K. Venugopal on 16 January said they are in the process to resolve the issues raised by four Supreme Court judges.
"We are in the process to resolve the issue. It would be done shortly," Venugopal said.
He, however, refused to comment on anything further.
According to earlier reports, it was revealed that differences between the four Supreme Court judges and Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra were not resolved.
However, the Bar Council of India (BCI) on Monday said that the rift between both the parties has been "laid to rest".
