After Congress party came to power in Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath had waived off the farm loan in under 6 hours but today, a farmer while crying went on to his knees in front of District Collector to get his demand fulfilled.

A farmer of Shivpuri fell on his knees while crying to get his demand fulfilled by the District Collector Anugrah P as he was seeking her intervention to get a trnsformer installed in the area.

News agency ANI tweeted saying, “Shivpuri(Madhya Pradesh): A farmer breaks down and falls to the feet of the newly appointed Collector Anugrah P seeking her intervention for installation of a new transformer in his village. The transformer was installed later.”

Commenting upon the issue, AK Chauhan, Upper Collector said “Farmer requested Collector for transformer connection on Dec 28. She ordered me to attend his request&take action. The scheme under which he requested for connection assures resolution within 6 months, but his problem was resolved in 3 months, on 30 Dec.”

Although, Kamal Nath government is being seen as a pro-farmers and rural friendly government but such incident might hamper the image of the newly formed Rahul Gandhi’s brigade.
