Union Minister Babul Supriyo was in Kolkata's Jorasanko constituency today to cast his vote during the fourth phase of elections in West Bengal.
Supriyo's presence - he is a very popular face in West Bengal - led to fans thronging the venue. TMC workers protested this and reportedly entered the booth with a large number of supporters.
An allegedly drunk TMC worker heckled Supriyo. Later, the singer-turned-politician was seen confronting the Kolkata Police for their inability in controlling the TMC workers as they barged into the booth.
