Uttar Pradesh: Boy thrown out of moving train, loses both legs

In a shocking incident, a youth lost both his legs after allegedly being pushed off a moving train by unidentified men near Bawali halt in Uttar Pradesh, on 25 July.

Identified as Ankur, the second year Bachelor of Arts student was thrown off a Delhi-bound train.

Police officials told PTI that Ankur's legs had to be amputated, and that he is in a serious condition at a district hospital, .

An FIR has been lodged, though no arrests have been made so far and a manhunt has been launched to identify and nab the accused.
