In another shocking incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped for months by an Assistant Professor in a private engineering college in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly district. The accused Assistant professor, Deepak Saxena also threatened the minor student. Saxena also runs a coaching institute and has been arrested by the cops on the complaint filed by girl's parents. A case under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act has been registered against him.

The parents of the girl came to know about the incident after the minor got pregnant and her condition become worst. The parents of the minor were shocked when the doctors told them that their daughter was seven-month pregnant. When they enquired from their daughter, she told her tale of woes. The victim was a student of Saxena’s coaching classes.

Accused Saxena first sexually assaulted her on November 17, 2017, in the institute after forcing her to stay back. When the 15-year-old High School student objected, he threatened to kill her parents. Sharing her rape ordeal, the girl told her parents that she was brutally raped by the ‘Sir’ in the institute premises for the past many months. “He had threatened me to kill my family if I objected and reported the matter to anyone. I got scared and never told you,” said she.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Professor and owner of the coaching Institute pleaded not guilty before cops “The girl was taking English classes in my coaching but I never touched her,” he said. “We have arrested the accused and registered a case against him under POCSO Act and Sections 376 of the IPC. Investigations are underway and will slap more charges against the accused,” said a senior police official.
