In yet another sexual harassment against a minor, a 14-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by her father repeatedly for three years. The 40-year-old father was arrested in Noida by Uttar Pradesh Police in the case of allegedly raping his teenage daughter.

The man is a daily wage labourer who had raped his 14-year-old daughter two days ago. The girl somehow managed to escape and reach the police station and narrated her ordeal, the official said.

"The family belongs to Bihar and they were staying in Chhijarsi village here for last some years. The girl's mother, who is a housewife, was aware of the happenings but both were threatened to remain silent," said the official from Phase-III police station.

"She has said in her complaint that her father is a drug addict and also did not allow her to attend school," the policeman said. An FIR was registered in the case and the accused was arrested from his house by the cop.

He has been booked under IPC Section 376 (rape) and under provisions of the Protection of Child against Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act and remanded in judicial custody, the official said.

Earlier, a report of a female constable being raped on several occasions by sub-inspector in Uttar Pradesh Kasganj came into light. The accused cop was held and the case was registered against him.
