UP student goes out for picnic, dies while taking selfie; father accuses three of his friends

In a horrifying incident, a student died while taking a selfie, after slipping into a canal. The student died in Meerut where he went out for a picnic with his friends.

According to a report, the deceased, Pawan along with his three friends was out for a picnic near the canal. Pawan was taking a selfie when he slipped into the canal that took his life.

The father of deceased accuses Pawan's three friends of the incident. The police are investigating the case.

Earlier, we reported for taking the perfect selfie, a Hyderabad man poses in front of the fast running train and got hit by the train.

Today’s youth have been found taking the dangerous selfie which took their life sometimes. The selfie mania has led many youngsters to pay their life or suffer for the entire life after getting critically injured.

According to the TOI reports, Railway Board Chairman, Ashok Lohani has asked to various zonal railways, including the North Western Railway (NWR) to complete this work by December 2018.

According to a 2016 report, India reported the highest number of selfie-related deaths between 2014 and 2016. Over 70 people had died during that period while clicking selfies. — ANI.
