Slain journalist Jagendra Singh's son now wants case retracted

Slain UP journalist, Jagendra Singh's son, Rajvendra Singh has told BBC that his father set himself on fire, contrary to earlier reports. He said that his father got involved among people who wanted to snatch power from UP minister Rammurti Verma.

He said that this fact was known to his father's close friends and was revealed to his mother at the time of her father's death. Now, Raghvendra Singh has asked for the matter to be closed and has accordingly filed for it in the Supreme Court.
