A new order of the local administration has been issued in which no one will be allowed to touch the Taj Mahal, not even the tourists.

According to the new farman, the Taj Mahal will now be forbidden to touch and if someone defies the order repeatedly, then action will be taken against them. These order have been issued to protect the structure of Taj Mahal from getting dirty and less polluted.

From last many years, the yellowing of Taj Mahal is being seen due to dirt and pollution from the chemical factories, which are situated nearby the 7 wonders of the world.

This job of conservation is carried out by the Archaeological Survey of India and it was being done earlier by the Multani soil and other therapies to protect the walls and inside of the structure.

As the Yamuna gets polluted due to industrial wastes, now the administration has also started steam bath to keep the Taj Mahal stones clean. The upper part of the Taj Mahal seems to be clean but the bottom remains to be dirty.

Despite of the walls being 6 feet high from the ground, the walls of Taj Mahal remain to be dirty.

In a comment given to the News 18, Taj Mahal’s patron Ankit Namdev has said, “Most tourists go unknowingly touching the Taj's walls. Many times the guide also touches the walls of the Taj, telling tourists about the Taj. By doing so, the tourists also begin to touch. This is especially in the main dome of the Taj.”
