Mumbai-Jaipur Jet Airways flight returned back mid-way after 166 passengers suffered nasal and ear bleeding; see video

A shocking incident took place after at least 30 passengers onboard a Jet Airways flight were started bleeding from nose and ears onboard a Jet Airways. Yes, several passengers were fell sick due in mid-air.

The reason behind it was that the crew forgot to maintain the cabin pressure due to which the passengers fell sick and also several complained of a headache.


On Thursday morning, the Jaipur-bound Jet Airways flight 9W 0697 took off from Mumbai airport.

The cabin crew forgot to select the bleed switch during the take-off. Due to an imbalance in the temperature inside the flight, passengers started feeling dizzy and sick.

"Thirty out of 166 passengers experienced nose and ear bleeding, some also complained of a headache," informed news agency ANI.

 

The Boeing 737 aircraft has returned to Mumbai. Doctors are currently attending all the passengers on the Mumbai airport. 

 

One of the passengers has tweeted about the whole incident on Twitter and wrote, 'Panic situation due to technical fault in @jetairways 9W 0697 going from Mumbai to Jaipur. Flt return back to Mumbai after 45 mts. All passengers are safe including me.'

 

After we took off the AC malfunctioned, then air pressure system malfunctioned too&oxygen masks came out. Some of us experienced nose bleeding & headache: Darshak Hathi, passenger onboard Mumbai-Jaipur Jet Airways flight which was turned back to Mumbai due to a loss in cabin pressure, tweeted passenger.

 

 

Darshak Hathi also wrote, 'The flight landed at Mumbai airport after an hour & we were told that we will be shifted to a different flight. This is an unfortunate incident.

 

The crew of the flight has been taken off duty and Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has started an investigation, informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
