BJP and Congress war of words has not taken the name to stop, the war turned unhealthy when Mumbai Congress Chief Sanjay Nirupam derogatory remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi had created a stir.

Sanjay Nirupam called PM Modi an ‘unpad gawar’ which means an illiterate and uncultured person. After this, the controversy raised and BJP slammed the statement. BJP spokesperson Shaina NC called Nirupam’s comment ‘obnoxious’ and also said him as ‘mentally deranged’.

Mumbai Congress Chief said this while attacking BJP government in Maharashtra.
He said that ‘Jo bachhe school, college mein padh rahe hain woh Modi jaise unpadh-gawaar ke baare mein jaan kar unko kya milne wala hai? Yeh bahut sharmnaak baat hai ki aaj tak humare desh ke nagrik aur bacchhon ko pata hi nahi hai ki PM ki degree kitni hai?’, said ANI reports.

He went on to defend his comment, saying the BJP shouldn't object to every word and that "in a democracy, the prime minister is not God", news agency PTI said.

However, people on social media reacted brutally over this remark of Sanjay Nirupam.
