Former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on 4 September launched an attack on CM Arvind Kejriwal over his former cabinet colleague Sandeep Kumar's alleged sex scandal and demanded him to resign on moral ground.
She accused Kejriwal of "shaming the country" after an "objectionable" CD emerged which purportedly showed Kumar in a compromising position with a woman. Dikshit was in the city as part of party's campaign team under the Congress' ongoing '27 Saal, UP Behaal' slogan.

Dikshit, joined Congress state unit chief Raj Babbar and other leaders on a campaign march to Azamgarh and Ghazipur district. She led the yatra to Azamgarh and Raj Babbar to Ghazipur district. They addressed gatherings there.
Meanwhile, ex-AAP leader Sandeep Kumar, surrendered at the DCP's office in Rohini on 3 September. He had been suspended from the Aam Aadmi Party's primary membership over the CD.
