Jain Muni Tarun Sagar took his last breath today at around 3 am at Radhapuri Jain temple situated in Krishna Nagar area of east Delhi. He died at the age of 51 due to his prolonged illness.

Reportedly, his last rites will be conducted at Tarunsagaram, Muradnagar in Uttar Pradesh later today.
However, Tarun Sagar was popularly known for his ‘kadve pravachan’ and have huge followers in a Jain community. As per the reports, Tarun Sagar was suffering from jaundice and he had been admitted to a private hospital some 20 days back. However, there was no sign of improvement till then. Also, he had reportedly stopped taking any medicine for the past few days. Later, he had brought to Radhapuri temple where he opted for 'Santhara', the Jain rituals of fast unto death.
Talking about his personal life, Jain Muni Tarun Sagar was born on 26th June 1967 in Madhya Pradesh’s Dahoh district. However, his original name was Pawan Kumar Jain. He left his home on 8th March 1981, left his normal life and lead a life of a muni (monk).
Meanwhile, Digambar Jain monk was popularly known for his sermon which is also called as ‘kadve pravachan’.
