Home Minister Rajnath Singh has claimed that the Congress party is calling bluff of the people through electioneering as temples and cows are an integral part of BJP.

Former BJP president Rajnath Singh, who was rallying in Alwar’s Bansaur district said in a press conference that temples and the cows are an election stunt for the Congress but the BJP is quite serious about it.

Rajnath told the reporters, “Congress leaders start offering prayers at temple when elections approach. They are not seen praying in temples earlier. Temples and cows can be an election issue for the Congress, but it is not an election stunt for the BJP. It is integral part of our cultural life.”

Rajasthan is set to vote on December 7 along with Telangana and the result will be announced on December 11. It’s a battle of prestige for the incumbent BJP and a challenge for the Congress to remain prevalent in today’s times and not be a victim of existential crisis.

Earlier, Rajnath said that it was because of the Congress party’s 55 years rule that the nation is still backward and in the list of poor countries, he added that the Congress party has played the bluff of people and deceived them with its unreachable poll promises.

He said, “We (BJP) have not done the politics of pulling wool over people's eyes. We look into the eyes of people.”

Being relevant in today’s time has become much important than losing out on the changing ways and technologies every campaigning is done or the rally is being called out.
