Priyanka Gandhi helps a girl suffering from tumour to shift AIIMS through private jet

Congress general secretary from Eastern UP, Priyanka Gandhi on Friday night helped a girl suffering from tumours to shift to AIIMS Delhi through a private jet. The two and half-year-old girl was undergoing treatment at Kamla Nehru hospital Prayagraj, UP, media reports stated.

However, the doctors there had said that the condition of the child is not stable and it will be difficult to save her. On Friday, the parents of the girl reached to Priyanka Gandhi to seek her help for the expenses of their daughter's medical treatment.

The newly appointed Congress leader immediately responded to their request and asked senior party leader Rajiv Shukla, Hardik Patel, and Mohammad Azharuddin to help the children to get better treatment at AIIMS, Delhi. The child was later shifted to AIIMS along with her parents through Rajiv Shukla's charter plane. Hardik Patel and Mohammad Azharuddin were with the parents.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had said that she would personally take care of the little child's treatment IANS quoted Congress leader Jitendra Tiwari as saying. Priyanka Gandhi who recently regretted of joining politics late says that her party works for poor, not like BJP.
