PM Modi speaks at National Convention

Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, PM Narendra Modi has sounded the poll bugle at the National Convention meet in Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan.

While addressing the BJP’s cadre and the nation from the dais, PM Modi has said that ‘BJP’s only agenda is Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas.’ PM Modi has listed most of the achievements of the BJP in the last 5 years of governance and has sounded like a campaigning rally more than a executive meet.

PM Modi has reiterated about the Quota angle where his government has successfully passed the 10% Reservation Bill for the General Category in jobs and education. PM Modi said, “Caste free quota a boon for the youths and they understand its importance.”

PM Modi, while elaborating about the corruption free government, said, “It has happened for the first time in the history of the country that a government that came into power with absolute majority hasn't been accused of corruption. We can take pride in the fact that there is no taint on us.”

Targeting the Congress parties regime of 2004 to 2014 under former PM Manmohan Singh, PM Modi said “The government before us pushed the country into darkness. It won't be wrong if I say that India lost 10 important years (2004-2014) in scams and corruption.”
