OROP vs ODOMOS: Omar Abdullah takes a dig at BJP chief Amit Shah's OROP; encounters with ODOMOS

As the election season is approaching, the kingmaker of acronyms BJP has come up with another title targeting the Congress party and BJP president Amit Shah said, ‘it’s Only Rahul Only Priyanka’ but Omar Abdullah has taken a dig.

Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and supremo of National Conference, Omar Abdullah has taken a jibe at the BJP president for attacking Congress and it’s scion and held that ‘BJP is suffering from Amit Shah and Narendra Modi syndrome.’


BJP president, while addressing a rally in Una said, “When the BJP government was formed, within a year Modi ji delivered on his promise of One Rank One Pension. Modi ji gave OROP to our jawans, Congress gave 'Only Rahul Only Priyanka.”

Reverting over the attacks, Omar was quick in a matching response and added that ‘the country was suffering from too much of “ODOMOS- overdose of only Modi Only Shah.”

The chief of National Conference tweeted saying, “While the rest of the country suffers from too much ODOMOS - overdose (of) only Modi only Shah.”

The Congress party, in a major political move, have declared the entry of Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi in to active politics and made her the General Secretary of the party and gave her additional charge to handle the elections of Uttar Pradesh in East region, with around 40 seats.

OROP (One Rank One Pension) which was a longstanding demand of the armed forces and the retired personnel to get the same pension for the same rank, which would be irrespective of the date of retirement.
