1- SC refuses to interfere in 'Padmavati' row

The Supreme Court on Monday refused to interfere in the matter regarding the release of upcoming film 'Padmavati.'

The apex court, while hearing a plea filed by a lawyer, stated, "We cannot interfere with the CBFC's work."

Meanwhile, the makers of the upcoming movie have voluntarily postponed its release date, in the face of absence of requisite clearances.

2- The cult leader and convicted murderer Charles Manson dies

The popular cult Mason Family's leader and convicted murderer Charles Manson dies of natural death on 19 November 2017. Mason died at the age of 83. While talking of his death, a statement from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said: “Inmate Charles Manson, 83, died of natural causes at 8:13 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at a Kern County hospital.”

3- Gujarat polls: Congress releases first list of 77 candidates

The Congress on Sunday released its first list of 77 candidates for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly Elections.

The list was released by senior party leader Oscar Fernandes. The list includes, Shaktisinh Gohil,Indranil RajyaGuru, Dilipsinh A Gohil, Vallab Dharadiya, Arjunbhai Modhvadiya and many more. Senior Gujarat Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil is contesting from Mandvi constituency.
