Noida: Auto crushed between two buses; driver, passenger killed
An auto driver and a girl were killed when the auto was crushed between a school and a private bus in sector 44, Noida, on Thursday morning. The girl was a passenger in the auto.
The school bus driver applied the brakes suddenly, following which the auto and the private bus were also forced to abruptly stop their vehicles. However, the speeding private bus couldn't control its speed and rammed into the auto, which got crushed between the two buses.
According to ABP news, the auto driver and 27-year-old Pragya Singh, who was travelling in the auto, died in the accident. The girl's colleague Navita Verma, who was in the auto with her, was admitted to the ICU ward at Kailash Hospital. The driver of private bus fled from the spot.
Six children of Marigold Public School also suffered injuries. They were admitted to Amar Hospital in Sector-19.
