Mumbai: Shocking! 19-year-old man kills model, stuffs body in suitcase and dumps in Mumbai's Malad

In a shocking incident, a body of a 20-year-old model was found stuffed in a trolly bag on the roadside in Mumbai Malad on Monday. The Mumbai Police have arrested a 19-year-old teenager, Muzammil Ibrahim, a friend of the aspiring model in the connection of the murder.

The deceased has been identified as Mansi Dixit, who was in her early 20s and belonged to Kota, Rajasthan. She came to Mumbai to follow her passion who had made appearances in some of the mainstream films and short films.


The victim has gone to meet her friend Muzammil Ibrahim at his home. An argument broke between the two after which the man allegedly killed and stuffed the body in a suitcase. Police said he then called a cab and went to an isolated area where he dumped the suitcase.

According to the police, a cab driver saw the suspect, Muzammil Ibrahim, dump the suitcase carrying her body in the bushes. The driver alerted the cops who arrested Ibrahim within a few hours. Ibrahim was a passenger in the same driver's cab.

“Under Bangur Nagar police station limits, the body of a woman was found inside a suitcase. On the basis of evidence, we have arrested a 19-year-old man who is a resident of Hyderabad. Further investigation is underway,” SP Nishandar, DCP Zone -11, told ANI.

Mansi Dixit's body was sent for autopsy. Mansi Dixit was also a partner at an event management firm, police said. A case of murder and destruction of evidence has been registered.
