Mumbai: At least 3 dead, 8 injured after under-construction building collapses in Goregaon; rescue underway
In an unprecedented accident in Mumbai’s Goregaon area, an under-construction building has collapsed killing 3 person and 8 people have been injured.
The news agnecy ANI has tweeted saying, "Death toll rises to 3 in the collapse of a portion of an under-construction building near Azad Maidan in Goregaon."
Asper the latest information, the accident happened near the Azad Maidan in Goregaon and has led to the death of 1 person immediately on the spot, and 2 others afterwards, other injured are being taken to the nearby hospital and till now the toll of injured has reached 8.
The NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) has reached the spot and evacuation process is on.
