Manoj Tiwari appointed new chief of Delhi BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manoj Tiwari has been appointed the party chief of Delhi.

The 45-year-old actor-turned-politician is a Lok Sabha MP from North-East Delhi. Tiwari, who was appointed by BJP national chief Amit Shah, will take over from Satish Upadhyay.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Nityanand Rai will take over the role of party president in Bihar, replacing Mangal Pandey.
