Kolkata: Fire breaks out in government building

A fire broke out in the Sector 5, Salt Lake area in Kolkata, West Bengal on the afternoon of 6 April. The fire reportedly broke out in a central government building.
Six fire engines have been rushed to the spot to contain the smoke and efforts are being made to douse the flames. The building has been evacuated and no casualties have been reported so far.
The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
