Jugram Mehndi, Mayawati-led BSP leader shot dead by unidentified man in Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh

Jugram Mehendi, Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party leader shot dead by unidentified man in Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. The BSP leader has been admitted in the district hospital. His condition is still critical. Two civilians were also injured.

On Monday morning, BSP's leader Jugram Mehndi and his driver Suneet Yadav were sacked by the unknown people in Ambedkar Nagar. The were rushed to hospital. During treatment in the district hospital, doctors declared them dead.


Two people were also injured in the shootings and are undergoing treatment. The SP has started investigations after examining the spot with the team. Jugram Mehndi was very close to former BSP minister Lalji Verma.

BSP leader Jugram, who was residing in Nasirabad area of Hanswar police station area, was rushing into his jeep in the morning and going to the village from Tanda to the village.

Suneet Yadav was driving the car. According to eyewitnesses, when the car reached near Rampur station near 9.30 am, 6 unidentified people, riding on bikes, surrounded them and started firing.

In about six round firing, Jugram and driver Sumeet got injured in several place in the body, including chest. This incident triggered a stampede. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took them to the hospital.
