Anupam Kher, husband of BJP MP Kiran Kher forwarded the WhatsApp message on official Twitter handle, saying, "Do not spoil the relations between the parties, who like the BJP, God will bless them a son like Narendra Modi and who likes the Congress, God will bless them a son like Rahul Gandhi".

Also, Kher wrote, 'Please do not take this forwarded message otherwise. I am posting as I have come to it. Thank you. '

Anupam Kher is soft in public for the Bhartiya Janta Party, following which different reactions are being received on his post on social media. A user named Vikas Singh wrote that "Stop buttering under the shade of jokes Kher ji, it is something like, 'who like BJP should get a husband like PM Narendra Modi.'

Recently, Anupam Kher resigned from the post of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) chairman, citing busy schedule. He was given the post in October last year.
