In the early hours, terrorist attacked the Army camp in Sunjwan in Jammu and Kashmir killing two JCOs and leaving six wounded. Amid this terror attack in J&K, a sitting NC MLA, Muhammad Akbar Lone from Sonawari Assembly, Bandipora district created a tense situation in the Assembly.

The NC MLA shouted “Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans in the ongoing assembly session when the ruling BJP MLAs were raising anti-Pakistan slogans to condemn the terror attack on Sunjwan Army station.

MLA Lone said that he will continue doing this inside and outside of the Assembly as he founds “no wrong in it”.

This act left everyone shocked as it was the first time in the history of the Assembly that“Pakistan Zindabad” slogans were raised in the Assembly house.

NC spokesman, Junaid Mattoo took Twitter to control the damage by posting, "Hon'ble @JKNC_ President has said the NC MLA should not forget that he belongs to a party that rejected the two-nation theory and he should also remember the oath he swears in the name of God at the beginning of his term. The party disowns and condemns his remarks."

The honorable speaker Kavinder Gupta said, related the terror attack with Rohingya and the attack on the Army camp was the reason as Rohingya Muslims wear residing near it, and at the very moment Opposition National Conference (NC) and Congress members stormed into the 'Well of the House.'

Even the opposition demanded the Speaker to take back his words, where blamed Rohingyas for the attack. The opposition also alleged that Pakistan was sponsoring "terror" in J&K.

Amid the din, the speaker Mr. Gupta adjourned the House for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, Omar Abdullah said: "We need to focus on the unfortunate developments in #SunjwanArmyCamp & not get distracted by misplaced slogans." in his tweet.
