Jammu and Kashmir: 3 soldiers injured in militant attack on army convoy in Kupwara

Three soldiers were reportedly injured on 7 September after militants attacked an army convoy in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports suggest that one of the soldiers is in a serious condition and had to be airlifted to the Army hospital. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to neutralise the terrorists, who fled the spot.

Last month, two Army personnel and one policeman were killed in an attack on an army convoy by terrorist in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Back in June, at least five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed and several others injured after militants ambushed their convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Pampore.
