Four civilians and two CRPF jawans were reportedly injured on 11 October in a grenade attack on CRPF patrolling party in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a PTI report, militants hurled the grenade at the CRPF personnel in Shopian town at around 11.40 AM. The injured have been taken to Shopian district hospital while the security forces have launched a massive search operation to track down the militants.

This comes close on the heels of a gun battle among security forces and terrorists around the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) premises in Pampore district.

Terrorists on 10 October attacked police party at Entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI) building in Pampore district.

This comes days after a policeman was killed, while another constable and a civilian were injured when some terrorists fired at a security post guarding minority community in Shopian district.

More details awaited.
