Gurugram (Gurgaon) was awash in a sea of colours on 25 June, as the city came together to celebrate its first ever Pride. People came forward in large numbers to join in the festivities of the LGBTIQ pride march, which was conducted at Leisure Valley Ground in Sector 29.
Freedom from sexual orientation to ensure social justice and a truly inclusive environment was the theme of the first ever Gurgaon Queer Pride march.
"It's a call for freedom from discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation to ensure social justice and a truly inclusive environment that has no one left on the margins.
