IAF Strike: Radar imagery confirms 4 buildings in Jaish madrasa were hit, say reports
As the Indian Air Force (IAF) struck the terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad across the LoC on February 26, the radar imagery has displayed that the strike affected around 4 buildings in Jaish madrasa, suggests reports.
As per top government sources, the agencies have direct evidence via radar imagery wherein it’s shown that four buildings were hit, which were identified as the targets by the IAF’s Mirage-2000 fighter jets, according to a report in The Indian Express.
Although, Pakistan has confirmed that the location was hit but has denied any damage and that the terror camps were not operating from its soil. The buildings that were hit had been functioning inside the campus of the Jaish’s madrasa.
An official was quoted saying to Indian Express, “Why did the Pakistan Army seal the madrasa after the strike? Why did it not allow journalists to visit the madrasa? We have evidence in the form of SAR imagery to show that a building used as a guest house, where brother of Maulana Masood Azhar used to stay; an L-shaped building where trainers used to stay; a double-storied building used to house students entering the seminary and another building where those undergoing final combat training used to stay, were hit by the bombs.”
Meanwhile, during the retaliatory aerial warfare by Pakistan Air Force, the IAF’s Wing Commander Abhinandan’s MiG-21 Bison was shot down and he landed up in Pakistan and was later on captured by the officials. Although, he was released to India last night.
