Here's the reason why the man attacked Arvind Kejriwal with chilli powder outside CM's Chamber at Secretariat

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was attacked by a man on Tuesday, who tried to throw a chilli powder at CM outside his office at the Delhi Secretariat. However, the man was restrained to throw the powder on Kejriwal’s face. This whole incident also raised the question of the security given to the Delhi CM, which gets failed to protect him.

However, CM’s spectacles were also broke in the scuffle. This whole incident was captured on CCTV camera.


The man has been identified as Anil Kumar Sharma (40), is an employee in a private company. As per the Police, he went to meet the CM saying that he needs a financial help for his ailing mother treatment.

However, Delhi Police has registered a case against the man and booked him under IPC sections 186 (obstructing public servant), 353 (assault), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

However, Anil has been arrested on Tuesday. However, there is no official complaint has been lodged from the chief minister’s secretariat, said Rajesh Khurana, JCP (central range).
