Haryana: Two children, teacher killed after massive fire breaks out in Faridabad school; five fire engines at the spot

Two children and a teacher killed after massive fire broke out in Harayana's Faridabad school on Saturday. The AND Convent School kid and a teacher died after a fire broke out in the school & cloth godown located below it in Dabua Colony of Faridabad, reported News ANI.

Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and efforts are on to douse the flames. "Fire dept is here, situation now under control, we'll ascertain the cause of fire," said police official.


According to the media reports, the three deceased were got suffocated due to the dense smoke were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they died. However, summer vacations were on, there were no students in the schools.

This incident occure hours after fire broke out at chemical godown near Kolkata's Howrah Bridge in West Bengal on Saturday, reported news agemcy ANI. The fire at a chemical godown broke out early this morning.

The godown is situated near Jagannath Ghat. The fire broke out around 2 am. Around 20 fire tenders are present at the spot. Fire fighting operations are underway. Official said that the situation is now under control.
