While Delhi is reeling under a massive Dengue and Chikungunya threat, Delhi's Deputy chief minister, Manish Sisodia is in Finland studying that country's education system.

Sisodia drew criticism from several quarters after photographs depicting him enjoying a visibly good time in Finland as Delhi suffers, surfaced on 16 September. The Opposition also blamed the Delhi government for being irresponsible and questioned Sisodia for not cutting short his trip even when Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not in the capital currently.

The Delhi government also to indulged in a blame game after Kejriwal refused to take any responsibility and asked people to question Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as the hospitals in the city continue to be swamped by patients affected by this vector-borne disease.

Sisodia had earlier said that Delhi government officials were busy following the "LG's instructions" of going through the files of the past 18 months and sending these to him.

"If they believe LG has all the powers in Delhi then he should be held responsible in these cases. Where did the LG disappear after putting useless and lazy officers at the helm of the Health department in the city," Sisodia had said in a series of tweets.

Over 12 persons have died due to the vector-borne disease in the national capital, which is battling a severe viral onslaught.
