DMK chief M Karunanidhi officially announces MK Stalin is his political heir

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M Karunanidhi today officially named MK Stalin his political successor.
Karunanidhi's decision also ended all speculations and political tussle between Stalin and his brother MK Alagiri over who will take over the party reins.
This new development in the party has also come as another shocker for MK Alagiri, who did not get any important role in the party during the last Assembly elections.
Following his differences with Stalin, Alagiri had announced a split from the party during the last Assembly elections.
