Six people were killed early on 3 June when a speeding car rammed into a stationary vehicle on NH1.
According to reports, the six people were travelling in an Eco sports car from Delhi to Karnal when the incident occurred.
The victims were immediately rushed to the hospital but were declared dead by the doctors.
"The accident happened around 4:30 am in the morning, we got a call around that time. We rushed to the spot and saw that a high intensity accident has taken place. Prima facie it seems like the car hit a stationary vehicle from behind. Six people were declared brought dead by the hospital. We are investigating the case," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Pankaj Kumar said.
The deceased have not been identified and investigations are going on.
