Delhi court sends Sheila Dikshit's son-in-law to one-day judicial custody

On 17 November, a Delhi Court sent former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit's son-in-law Syed Muhammad Imran to one-day judicial custody in connection with a domestic violence case.

He has been booked under the Domestic Violence Act after Dikshit's daughter Latika filed a complaint at the Barakhamba Road Police Station following which a case under relevant provisions was registered.

Imran was earlier sent to two-day police custody.

He was arrested from Bangalore and brought to the national capital on transit remand.

Later on, he was produced before Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Sharma, who remanded him to police custody till today.

Latika separated from Imran ten months back.
