Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Tuesday asked students to cooperate with the Centre's fact-finding committee constituted to probe allegations against the Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University, Prof Adya Prasad Pandey.

He said, "I appreciate the Central government's concern. Javadekar has constituted fact-finding committee to investigate allegations against Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University. Request students and concerned people to cooperate with the government in the investigation and let University function for larger interest."

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Human Resource Development had reconstituted a three-member fact-finding committee to assess the allegations against the Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University.
