Braid chopping mystery: 2 arrested in UP for spreading rumours

Two persons have been arrested here for allegedly spreading rumours about braid chopping, police said on 5 August.
Bhikan and Nand Kishore were arrested on 4 August night from Jeroi Hayatnagar village for spreading rumours about the braid of a 10-year-old girl being chopped off, police officials said.
A case has also been registered against the duo, in- charge of Bahjoi police station, Braj Mohan Giri said.
Superintendent of Police, Sambhal, Ravi Shankar Chhabi said strict action will be initiated against those indulging in spreading rumours.
