AIADMK Women Wing marks International Women's day

AIADMK Women's Wing on 8 March, 2017 celebrated International Women's Day at the party headaquarters in Chennai by giving away welfare assistance.
The celebrations were led by former Ministers P Valarmathi and S Gokula Indira, a party release said.
Women beneficiaries were given computer laptops, sewing machines and iron box among others, it said.
It recalled the various pro-women schemes and measures initiated by the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa with a view to uplift them.
