Aarushi murder case: CBI appeals to SC against Rajesh and Nupur Talwar in Noida double murder case mystery

The country's biggest unsolved Aarushi murder mystery case is again in the news headlines. As CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has filed a plea in the apex court of India on 8 March 2018. CBI has challenged the decision given by Allahabad High Court against the acquittal of dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar for the double murder case of Aarushi and Hemraj.

According to the reports, this decision was taken by the CBI only when the legal experts came to the conclusion almost after a month that the Allahabad High Court decision had errored on many issues.
Aarushi and their domestic help Hemraj were found murdered in their Noida flat in 2008.

As per the CBI appeal, the high court's conclusion was not to have any evidence to prove that the dentist couple guilty was wrong for various reasons.

One of the appeals filed against the HC verdict by Hemraj's wife Khumkala Banadaje also left pending.

In November 2013, the accused couple was imprisoned for lifetime announce by the Ghaziabad court. But, last year in October, the Allahabad HC brought a turn in the murder mystery case and said that there was not sufficient evidence against the Aarushi's parents which made CBI re-investigate the case.
