1 Rupee Clinic was set up at various railway stations in Maharashtra two years ago in 2017 to help the commuters in case of a medical emergency. It is a 24X7 clinic which was established by The Central Railway along with Mumbai based medical firm, following the orders of Bombay High Court.
This is not the first time this incident took place when a delivered a baby boy on Ahmedabad-Puri Express last year in 2018. A final year MBBS student took help of her seniors on Whatsapp to help the woman with delivery.
