The By-poll results have been announced after the counting of votes today. According to the current update BJP has lost 10 out of 11 contested seats. The party has only won in Palghar Lok Sabha seat. But there is something major has happened in this poll which has the larger impact on upcoming Lok Sabha election. The Sugarcane Farmers

The maximum number of sugarcane farmer across the country belong to the West Uttar Pradesh. And issues related to the sugarcane farmers play an important role in the elections here. If we consider the stats then the compensation of sugarcane farmers has not been released yet which is about 12,000 crores. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of UP have promised to release the fund in their political campaign in 2014 and 2017. But the promise has not been fulfilled.

Loan Waiver of Farmers

The loan waiver of the farmer is a big issue across the country which has been neglected at many stages by the current government. Prime Minister Modi himself has said in West UP that Yogi government has waived off the loan of 86 lakh farmers in the state which was around 30729 crore. But the Kairana result is proving that such claims are baseless and the farmers have not received any benefits.

Increasing the MSP

The Modi government also promised to increase the MSP by 1.5 times, UP and central government of BJP promised to give 1.5 times donation on the seeds to the farmer. But this promise has not been fulfilled.

The import of Sugar from Pakistan

On when handing the farmers are in pain for not getting the value o sugar crop and on the other hand the central government decision of importing sugar from Pakistan has hurt the West UP farmers.
