Diwali 2019: These last-minute home-made face packs will brighten up your skin instantly this festive season

Diwali the most auspicious festival that brings everyone together under the same roof. This is festival is all about sweets, gifts, lighting up house and one where we dress till we drop. However, in all these people forget about to take care of their skin due to shortage of time. As people are now juggling between home and work at the same time which is also rising their stress level.

Well, this stress level is taking a toll on everyone and now people have started looking dull and their skin no more looks radiant as usual. Since people don't have time to go to salon and Diwali is a few hours away so wondered why not ease your work. So here we have brought you some easy last-minute homemade face packs that will brighten up your skin instantly and once again you will look radiant.


Baking Soda

 

One of the most effective component to brighten up the skin as it cleans off dark and dead skin. Take 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of water and mix it well and make a thick paste. However, before applying first do a patch test so your wrist. Keep the paste for approx 5 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. Pat dry and apply moisturiser.

Sugar and Lemon Scrub

 

If you want to de-tan your skin then its the most effective component as lemon is rich with Vitamin C lightning the pigmentation which will help the skin in radiating your skin. Take 1 tablespoon of sugar and squeeze out the juice from one lemon. Mix the two well and then massage the mixture on your face for five minutes. After 15 minutes wash it off with cold water.

Banana


This fruit is rich with Vitamin A, B and E which helps in preventing ageing, getting rid of the dark spots and helps in skin lightening. Take 1 ripe banana, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 lemon juice and mix them well. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash it away with normal water.

Besan

 

Take 2 tablespoons of besan and add 4 tablespoons rose or milk or curd. Mix the paste well and apply it on the face and leave till it gets dry. Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat it dry. Besan helps in maintaining the pH level of the skin.
