A lot has been written and spoken about Amitabh Bachchan hosting the event to celebrate two years of the Narendra Modi government that is supposed to be held on 28 May 2016. A few days back Big B's son Abhishek Bachchan cleared the air surrounding the controversy and now the man himself has spoken about the issue at the music launch event of his upcoming thriller TE3N.

At the event, on being asked if he is hosting the grand event that is supposed to take place at India Gate, Amitabh Bachchan said:

"I have been invited to host a small segment. I am attached to the Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao campaign and I am going to host that segment. I am also a United Nations ambassador for saving the girl child and I will also be speaking about that issue. Madhavan is hosting the programme if I am not mistaken."

Apart from the event at India Gate, BJP has planned over 200 events across the country between 26 May and 10 June to highlight the government's success.
