Playing carrom is indeed not 'wrong'. TMC MP Mimi Chakrabarty was found being 'wrong' playing the game inside the party office.

She was also trolled massively for playing carrom at the party office.

The actor turned politician was trolled by the internet users after she posted the video on her Facebook profile. The politician captioned the video: “A moment of playing carrom at the party office, just before leaving for the day.” But then she did not expect the way the netizens would react.

 Here are some reactions:

One netizen wrote: “You don’t have time to go to the Parliament but to play carrom. Extraordinary indeed !!” Another wrote: “Politics is not a sport, look at people. You have posted a video of playing carrom, but not anything about your activity at the party office.” Other comments on similar lines also were posted.

However, some Facebook users also stood by the MP.

One user wrote, “As she is an actor who has joined politics, she is being trolled. Don’t worry Mimi di; carry on. Nothing to worry about such criticism.”

But Mimi, who essentially is a fun-loving character, will probably think not twice, but many more times, before posting such light videos. After all, she probably did not expect such harsh reactions for having a light-hearted moment.

The TMC MP who has been elected from the Jadavpur Lok Sabha constituency in West Bengal recently played carrom with her party workers. She did so during a visit to a TMC office in her constituency. The moment the MP did so she was trolled by a large number of Facebook users.
