Noida: Drunk man’s BMW gets robbed after he parks his car on roadside to urinate

A shocking incident came to light from Noida where a BMW car of a man who was in inebriated condition got robbed by some unidentified miscreants on Saturday.

According to the media reports, the car was robbed when the drunk man parked his luxurious car roadside to attend nature’s call, police on Sunday.


The incident took place on Saturday night in Sector 90 under Phase-2 police station limits. The man has been identified as Rishabh Arora, a stockbroker, who was returning in the car from a party and he was highly intoxicated.

However, the car was owned by Arora’s brother-in-law and reportedly, the loan of Rs 40 lakh is still pending, they said.

"Police force including senior officials had reached the spot after a matter was reported that a man's BMW car has been robbed," said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Noida, Harish Chander.

Rishabh Arora allegedly stopped the car in the midway and came out to urinate. Meanwhile, some unidentified miscreants reached the spot and fled with his Arora’s vehicle.

According to the DCP, the robbery was planned by somebody known to the car’s owner. Arora has filed an FIR against anonymous persons.

In the complaint, Arora alleged that miscreants had arrived on a motorcycle and had put a gun on his back while he was peeing on the roadside.

Meanwhile, Noida police are probing the matter from all possible angles.

When reporters asked Police about drunk driving cases on the stockbroker, then DCP Chander told PTI, “The priority is to recover the BMW and ensure the arrest of the culprits. It's a serious concern that somebody's car gets robbed like this on city roads.”

However, police are yet to verified whether Arora was highly drunk or not.
