Soon after one of Hollywood's most loved couple Angelina Jolie and Brad pitt shattered millions of hearts by filing for divorce, London's Madame Tussauds museum announced it had separated the couple's wax figures.
The wax works that were unveiled in 2013, in honour of Brad Pitt's 50th birthday, now stand at a "respectful distance from each other", Associated Press reported.
Angelina Jolie's statue has now been placed next to Nicole Kidman, while Brad Pitt's wax figure now stands near Morgan Freeman.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt early this week.
Jolie's lawyer, Robert Offer, in an official statement to BBC confirmed the news and requested the media to give her client privacy during a tough time.
"The decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time," said Offer in the statement.
The couple, who was together since 2004, tied the knot in August 2014. According to media reports, the marriage has been called off by Jolie citing irreconcilable differences with Pitt. The actress is asking for physical custody of the couple's six children.
